The current pricing crises with food, fuel, electricity, and gas are currently being driven 100% by America's Caligula and his party of elected senatorial horses. And specifically his tariffs, but more generally his inability to comprehend anything beyond self-gratification.

There's been a 'cost of living crisis' discussed in many countries --not just the US-- since roughly the end of the pandemic. For obvious reasons, there are other factors responsible for this - not just Trump.

Trump's recent foray into Iran has indeed hit fuel/gas prices, the supply chain of some regional goods, and will have a knock-on impact on other goods subsequently due to rising fuel costs. The impact of tariffs on consumers is largely confined to the US.

They had the components for a crude steam engine. That isn't proof they did it.

We are getting close to understanding the brain at the cellular level and below. There is a photo of a charge exchange between neurons, occurring as the rat "recognized" an object - cell-level cognition mechanism.

And you can understand a single line of code. But when all that code is wrapped inside a cellphone, or all those ionic transmitters in a skull - do you really "understand" either? It becomes a black box, with semi-predictable outputs.

Since the one who picks them up pays, it's fair.

Try believing in yourself.

Don't use beauty filters to display what you wish you looked like. Don't use AI to imitate your own voice. Just be.

That's a fair analogy, i am taking the feedbacks into account.

And that philosophy is called "wabi-sabi" (which is a hella fun word to say):

"Japanese aesthetic philosophy finding beauty in imperfection, transience, and incompleteness. Rooted in Zen Buddhism, it appreciates the natural cycle of growth and decay, valuing authenticity, rustic simplicity, and the patina of age over modern perfection. It encourages accepting flaws, such as cracks in pottery or weathered surfaces, as part of an object’s unique story.

Not to mention planting evidence, fabricating claims made to the courts, and so on.

And coveting thy neighbor's lemon pound cake.

The middle path is best:

Your gut is not a liar. Give it real credence.

Your gut is not psychic. Don't rely on it solely. Skilled con artists know how to trigger "trust reactions".

The sane Americans get it. We know how important NATO is, and sovereignty of nations, and so on. We get it.

We are in a state of permanent horror at what the voting majority has done, all to avoid voting a woman of color into office, to own the libs, to hate on brown-skinned people, etc., ad nauseum. Votes against today, instead of towards tomorrow. Hatred and fear as prime motivations.
